Beta Version

The first sentence is the hardest I think. At least it is for me.

It is not that I don't have a million ideas and thoughts swirling around in my head most of the time I am awake. But the conversations that play in my head are somewhere in the middle of an idea - not the beginning. If we were on a walk or sitting around a table somewhere, the conversation would start easily and we would get to the middle without even thinking about how we got there. But when it comes to a blank page and my fingers on a keyboard I re-think about a jillion times.

How crazy is it that the first sentence has become such a hurdle?

I love the website and they are in the process of updating their site. So when you log on, there is a red bar/invitation at the top of the home page to enter the Beta Version of the updated format if you want to. Version 3.0 isn't perfect yet, but while they are working out the bugs they have invited people in to browse the new format - to use it and look around and provide feedback to make it better. They are ok with putting up what they have so far, believing that their readers will want to join them in the process of getting the details right.

I LOVE that idea. It gives me the freedom to put something on this website that isn't what it might be later. My husband Dale, who is a Business professor gave me an article about people who accomplish a lot and don't wait for everything to be perfect before jumping in. I get that in my head. I need to start getting it in real life. says "A beta version of a program, game etc... is an unfinished version released to either the public a select few or whoever signs up to beta test it for bugs or glitches."

So here I go. This is a place for today's ideas and thoughts and stories. There will be bugs. Tomorrow life might edit what I post today.

I need Beta testers.

If you are reading this, please consider this blog post an invitation to be a beta tester of this site.

Really….I would love to know what works and what doesn't. If you read through any of the sections on the stories behind the Names of God, let me know if it makes sense, ok? Does the format work for you?

Truthfully, it is good to admit that my life is an unfinished version of me. It is ok to let people in to the version that is messy and needs editing. It is good to have a few good Beta testers in actual life I think.
